Removal
Remove the negative battery terminal. Working inside the vehicle, detach the trim at the front lower portion on the driver's side to access the accelerator pedal. Remove the accelerator cable from the pedal. Remove the engine air intake components and remove the accelerator cable from the throttle body. Rotate the throttle lever to release tension on the cable and disconnect the cable from the lever (See Fig. 4D.8).

Disconnect the accelerator cable housing from the suspension by removing the clamp or turning the cable housing 45° counterclockwise and removing the cable (see Fig. 4D.9).

Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Adjustment
The accelerator cable is adjusted by moving the casing from the throttle side. Remove the metal bracket and lubricate the regulator sealing ring with soapy water. Remove the slack in the accelerator cable by moving the regulator in the suspension. An assistant should press the accelerator pedal all the way down. At this point, the accelerator cable casing will move back into the regulator. After this, it is necessary to install the bracket. Check the operation of the accelerator cable by pressing and releasing the accelerator pedal. At this point, the throttle lever should move from stop to stop. Install the previously removed air filter parts.
