Withdrawal


Disconnect the ground wire from the battery. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. Remove the air filter.

Remove the camshaft timing belt. Remove the lower casing of a drive of system of gas distribution.

Remove the timing belt tensioner pulley. Unscrew the stud from the coolant pump housing. Disconnect the elastic pipe from the coolant pump. Remove the coolant pump.

Installation


Attention. In case of replacement of the coolant pump, it is also recommended to install a new toothed timing belt.


Clean the sealing surfaces of the gasket in the engine block and coolant pump housing. Install a new water pump gasket. Screw the coolant pump to the cylinder block without fully tightening the mounting bolts.

Connect the flexible pipe of the cooling system to the coolant pump. Place a white sign on the piping opposite the sign on the pump housing ledge. Tighten the coolant pump mounting bolts to the correct torque. Screw the stud into the appropriate place in the coolant pump housing, lubricating the threads with a small amount of Loctite 242 glue. Install the lower casing of the timing drive. Install the timing belt tensioner pulley and spring. Install the roller so that its spring is compressed as much as possible. Establish a gear belt of a drive of system timing. Install the air filter. Connect the ground wire to the battery.

Fill the cooling system and remove air from it. Check the tightness of the connections.
