Removal
1. Set the gear selector lever to position "P".
2. Raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands.
3. Unscrew the lever handle, remove the decorative cover from the center console and the console after unscrewing the self-tapping screws.
4. Remove the lever guide plate.
5. Remove the rod from the lever by pressing the plastic tab with a screwdriver.
6. Remove the rod from the gearbox.
7. Pull the rubber bushing out of the bottom of the body and remove the rod.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When securing the rod to the control lever, the ring-shaped protrusion should be directed toward the pin.
Examination
1. Set the gear selector lever to position "P".
2. Raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands.
3. The front wheels must be locked, otherwise make adjustments.
Adjustment
1. Raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands.
2. Remove the control cable from the lever on the gearbox.
3. Turn the gear selector shaft on the gearbox until the parking lock is locked. Check by turning the wheel.
4. Set the gear selector lever to the "P" position. In this position, the holes in the gearshift shaft lever and the control cable end must match. Otherwise, change the length of the cable.
5. To move the cable, move the rubber cover on the cable and, by rotating the fork along the thread in one direction or another, align the holes on the cable and the lever.

6. Install the cable locking clamp (1) onto the lever (2), secure it and install the cover in place.
7. Lower the car.
Adjusting the eccentric control cable
Adjustment should be made after installing the gearbox or replacing the cable. The cable is attached to an eccentric mounted on the throttle shaft and communicates the throttle position to the gearbox.
1. Remove the air filter.

2. Press the locking bar of the automatic installation device until the cable is completely released, accompanied by a click and an increase in the protrusion of the sheath (A). The automatic installation device is located on top of the cable guide sleeve.
3. Turn the eccentric to turn the throttle valve to the stop, i.e. to the maximum throttle mode, and release it back. At the same time, the automatic transmission cable adjustment device is activated and the protrusion of the cable sheath is set.

4. Adjust the fuel supply system cable (3) by removing the latch (2), pressing the accelerator pedal all the way down, fully extending the cable sheath and setting the latch (1 – eccentric control cable) in this position.
5. Install the air filter.
