Generator



An alternator from Bosch, Lucas or Motorola is installed depending on the car model. The generator is driven by the crankshaft via a V-belt drive. Current is transmitted to the excitation winding via brushes and slip rings.

Attention! To avoid generator failure, do not operate the generator with the battery disconnected, i.e. do not disconnect the battery when the engine is running.
