Inner Hinge Protective Boot Replacement

1. Lock the vehicle with the parking brake.

2. Raise the front of the car.

3. Unscrew the fastener and remove the ball joint from the steering knuckle.

4. If there is a stabilizer bar, unscrew the lower suspension arm mounting bolt and remove the arm.

5. Remove both clamps securing the protective cover and slide the cover along the shaft.

6. Remove grease from hinge (to provide access to the retaining ring) and remove the retaining ring.

7. Remove the shaft from the hinge and remove the protective cover.

8. Install a new protective cover and perform all the steps in the reverse order of removing the cover.
