Removal. Gearbox B5 and iB5
Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the reversing light switch (see Fig. 7A.19).
Unscrew the switch from the gearbox and remove it.
Removal. Gearbox MTX-75
Disconnect the connector located on the wires that go to the reverse light switch and located on top of the gearbox. Unscrew the bolts and remove the reverse light switch from the cover on the gearbox.
Installation. Gearbox B5 and iB5
Clean the socket in the gearbox and the switch.
Install the switch with the new washer and tighten the switch to the specified torque.
Connect the electrical connector. Check the gearbox oil level and top up if necessary.
Lower the car.
Installation. Gearbox MTX-75
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
