1. Warm up the engine to operating temperature.
2. Connect a special device to measure engine speed.
3. Move the control lever to the maximum fuel supply position until it stops at the adjusting screw, for no more than 6 seconds, and measure the engine speed. If necessary, adjust the speed with the screw, having first unscrewed the lock nut.
4. Check the time it takes the engine to go from maximum speed to idle. It should not exceed 5 seconds.
