Bosch Fuel Filter Replacement
1. Place a container under the fuel filter to collect the leaking fuel.
2. Unscrew the filter from the filter holder.
3. Lubricate the sealing gasket of the new filter with diesel fuel and fill the filter with diesel fuel.
4. Screw the filter onto the filter holder by hand.
5. Unscrew the air bleed screw from the filter and pump with a hand pump until the flowing fuel no longer contains air bubbles.
6. Start the engine, increase the engine speed several times to completely remove air from the fuel system.
7. Check the tightness of the power supply system.
8. Remove the container with the leaked fuel.
Replacing the CAV fuel filter
1. Place a container under the fuel filter to collect the leaking fuel. Drain the sediment and fuel from the filter.
2. The replaceable filter element is clamped between the filter holder and its sump.

3. Unscrew the bolt securing the E sump to the filter holder C.
4. Disconnect the sump and the replaceable fuel filter element.
5. Install the new replacement element on the sump and push it towards the filter holder.
6. Carefully tighten the bolt securing the sump to the filter holder.
7. Unscrew the fuel outlet hose from the filter.
8. Pump the handle of the hand pump until fuel free of air bubbles comes out of the nozzle.
9. Screw on the fuel outlet hose.
10. Check the tightness of the fuel filter connections.
