Remove the gearbox as described in the chapter "Gearbox". Evenly unscrew the six bolts securing the clutch housing to the flywheel and remove the housing together with the pressure plate. This will release the driven disk. Thoroughly clean the clutch parts and check the condition and fastening of the damper springs. Check the condition and runout of the working surface of the friction linings, which should not exceed 0.5 mm. Check the condition of the mating surface of the driven disk on the flywheel, the thickness of the driven disk and friction linings, the flatness of the working surface of the pressure plate, and the condition of the gearbox input shaft bearing in the crankshaft flange. Install the clutch housing together with the driven disk and center the driven disk with mandrel 21.052 (Fig. 3.3).

Install the driven disk with the damper facing the pressure plate (Fig. 3.4).

Tighten the casing mounting bolts diagonally in sequence. Remove the mandrel.
