In case of insufficient pedal free play. too high pedal position or «shaking» clutch on cars of previous releases, it is necessary to install the adjusting stopper in the following order. Remove left side lower trim and ignition unit with bracket. Use a screwdriver to press the ratchet pawl and press the clutch pedal all the way. Set the stopper to half its stroke and slowly, tooth by tooth, release the pedal to the level of the brake pedal, in this position lower the stopper to set the adjusting mechanism to the working position.
Check and, if necessary, adjust the free play of the clutch pedal, to do this, raise the stopper again, release the pedal up one tooth and lower the stopper.
