Intake manifold

Withdrawal

Drain the coolant from the cooling system. Remove the injector.

After noting the location of the hoses, disconnect the coolant, vacuum and crankcase ventilation hoses from the manifold. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the sensors in the intake manifold.

Unscrew bolts and remove a collector from a head of the block of cylinders. Remove the gasket.

Clean the mating surfaces of the manifold and cylinder head.

Installation

Installation is done in sequence. reverse withdrawal. Use a new gasket when installing the manifold.
