Removal
Drain the coolant from the cooling system. Remove the injector.
After marking the location of the hoses, disconnect the coolant, vacuum, and crankcase ventilation hoses from the manifold. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the sensors in the intake manifold.
Unscrew the bolts and remove the manifold from the cylinder head. Remove the gasket.
Clean the mating surfaces of the manifold and cylinder head.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When installing the manifold, use a new gasket.
