The manual transmission has four or five synchronized forward gears and a reverse gear. When engaging the reverse gear, press the clutch pedal and after a few seconds engage the gear.

Four-speed gearbox



To engage reverse gear, set the gear shift lever to neutral and move it to the left, press down and forward.

Five-speed gearbox



To engage reverse gear, set the gear shift lever to neutral and, overcoming the resistance of the spring, move it to the right and back.

The fifth forward gear is designed to reduce noise and save fuel.

The following lever positions are possible:

P – Parking

This position should only be set when the vehicle is stopped. The drive wheels are locked in this position, preventing the vehicle from moving. The handbrake must also be applied.

R – Reverse

This position should only be set when the vehicle is stopped and the engine is idling.

N – Neutral position

This position should be set when starting the engine and idling it.

D – Forward movement



Normal driving position. You can switch from position D to position 2 or 1 while the vehicle is moving.

2 – Movement only in 1st and 2nd gears

Used when driving without a trailer on roads with ascents or descents in the mountains or when driving at speeds up to 40 km/h.

1 – Movement only in 1st gear

Used when driving with strong ascents and descents.

Attention! When driving at speeds over 100 km/h, do not set the lever to positions 1 and 2.


Before engaging the lever position in P and R, set the lever to position N and press down.

Starting the engine



Start the engine only when the lever is in N and P positions.
