Door adjustment elements
The door closing mechanism is adjusted so that when the door is closed, the door seal is pressed evenly along the entire perimeter, tightly and ensures the door is hermetically sealed. Due to the fact that over time, the sealing material ages (reduces elastic properties), the door seal is damaged and adjustments must be made.
1. Mark the position and unscrew the door lock pin half a turn.
2. Move the locking pin 2–3 mm into the door and tighten it again.
3. The adjustment is considered to be done correctly if the door sealing is restored and the door closes easily. Otherwise, continue the adjustment by moving the locking pin to one side or the other.
4. In four-door models, adjustment may require moving the door lock a few millimetres outwards from the door, which requires removing the lock and widening the mounting holes with a file.
