Headlight washer system
The headlight washer system only works when the headlights are on and the windshield washers are running. The system is supplied with washer fluid from the windshield washer reservoir.
Washer nozzle adjustment
If the vehicle is equipped with a heated windshield, the washer fluid will also be heated. The direction of the jet of liquid can be adjusted using a needle inserted into the nozzle. The rear window washer nozzles are located above the rear door.
Checking the condition of the wiper blades
Check the working surface of the wiper blade by running your finger along the working edge. Traces of grease, sand and fuel interfere with the normal operation of the brushes. Ford cleaning paste is recommended for cleaning the wiper blades.
Replacement wiper blades
It is recommended to replace the wiper blades in autumn and spring. To remove the brush, press the clip and remove the brush from the wiper arm. The new brush is simply put on the lever.
