Removal



1. With the parking brake applied, jack up the front of the vehicle and support it on jack stands.

2. Release the clips and remove the two-piece lower engine sound insulation cover.

3. After unscrewing the locking nut, unhook the end of the cable from the gearshift lever on the gearbox.

4. Disconnect the downshift valve wiring from the connector, unscrew the two retaining bolts and remove the downshift valve along with the wiring.

Installation



5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the downshift cable as described in the previous section, then, with the lower engine sound deadening cover in place, lower the vehicle to the ground.
