Installing the front wishbone

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. When installing the front control arm, use new self-locking nuts.

2. Insert the transverse arm into the front suspension beam, install two bolts so that the nuts are screwed on from the outside. After screwing on the nuts, do not tighten them completely.

3. Insert the ball joint trunnion into the steering knuckle clamping device, do not forget to install the plastic washers. Using a torque wrench, tighten the trunnion mounting bolt to 50 Nm, then tighten the bolts by 90°.

4. Before tightening the bolts securing the lever to the front suspension beam, first install the wheel and lower the car. The rubber bushings will take a position that provides the required prestressing. After that, tighten the bolts to 50 Nm and additionally tighten them by an angle of 90°.

5. Check the vehicle's wheel alignment.
