Front suspension type "MacPherson". The main unit is the shock absorber strut, to which the steering knuckle is attached. It is kept from longitudinal and transverse displacements by a transverse lever and jet thrust.

Suspension "MacPherson" it is also used at the rear on cars with a body "sedan".

On vehicles with a body "station wagon" rear suspension on double wishbones with jet rods. All suspensions are equipped with anti-roll bars to prevent body roll in corners. The rack and pinion steering is mounted on a subframe behind the engine. The swing arms are made in one piece with the knuckles.

All models described in this manual are equipped with integrated power steering. The safety steering column is connected to the mechanism through the articulated shaft.

Note: These vehicles use both standard and metric threaded fasteners so a tool for both fasteners is required to work.

Warning: If suspension or steering fasteners are lost or loosened, they should be replaced with new ones, do not reuse them. In order to preserve the fastener properly and allow it to be reassembled, the tightening torque specification must be followed.
