Air-fuel mixture adjustment

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. Ask the assistant to press the accelerator pedal all the way.

2. Turning tension bolt 2 (pic. 8.19), move the fuel pump control lever linkage to the rack travel stop.

3. Check that when the accelerator pedal is pressed all the way, the thrust of the fuel pump control lever is pressed against the rack stroke limiter.

Under no circumstances turn screw 5 for adjusting the maximum speed and screw 4 for the regulator, as these adjustments must only be carried out by a specialized service center.
