SEQUENCE OF WORKS
1. Ask an assistant to press the accelerator pedal all the way down.

2. By turning tension bolt 2 (Fig. 8.19), move the fuel pump control lever rod to the rack travel limiter.
3. Check that when the accelerator pedal is pressed all the way down, the fuel pump control lever rod is pressed against the rack travel limiter.
Do not under any circumstances turn screw 5 for adjusting the maximum speed and screw 4 for adjusting the regulator, as these adjustments must only be made at a specialized service center.
