Replacing the air filter (Fiesta 4)

The Air Filter section describes how to clean and replace the air filter on vehicles with gasoline engines. On vehicles with diesel engines, the air filter must also be replaced periodically.



SEQUENCE OF WORKS

1. Loosen the clamps on the intake pipe and air filter housing and remove the air pipe.

2. Release the spring clips and remove the air cleaner cover.

3. Remove the air filter from the bottom of the air filter housing.

4. When installing the filter, always ensure that the sealing lips fit snugly against the bottom of the housing.

5. Install the air filter cover and secure it with the clamps.

6. Install the air duct and secure it tightly with clamps.
