Replacing the accelerator cable on cars with Zetec engines (Fiesta 4)

SEQUENCE OF WORKS

1. The accelerator cable is replaced in the same way as on vehicles with Endura-E engines.

2. Remove clamp 1 (Fig. 8.11) securing the accelerator cable to the mounting segment.

3. Turn to release the accelerator cable from its fastening to support 2.
