SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. Unscrew the tie rod end, accurately counting the threads (or revolutions when withdrawing).
2. Loosen and remove the protective boot clamps.
3. Pull off the bellows.
4. Before installation clear steering draft and grease it with a thin film of greasing.
5. Carefully pull the mudguard over the tie rod. Make sure that the protective boot is not twisted and fits correctly in the grooves of the tie rod and rack housing. Otherwise, the tightness of the protective cover may be broken, which will lead to damage to the steering mechanism.
6. Secure the dirt cover with clamps.
7. Install the tie rod end. Tighten the new self-locking nut to 35 Nm.
8. Check the toe of the front wheels and the position of the steering, if necessary, adjust in a car workshop.
