Remove the console (pic. 3.46).

Set the manual control lever to the position "R".

Remove the manual control lever.

Remove the control cable by pulling the ring plastic hook with a screwdriver (pic. 3.47).

Unscrew the cable sheath bracket from the gearbox housing.

Raise the vehicle.

Disconnect the cable from the gearbox (pic. 3.48).

Remove the rubber bushing with a cover from the floor and remove the cable (pic. 3.49).

The cable is installed in the following order.

Insert the new cable through the hole in the floor and install the rubber grommet with boot.

Put the car on the xles.

Attach cable to hand lever (pic. 3.50). The O-ring must point towards the tip of the stem. Squeeze with forceps so that the squeezing of the opening of the eye is noticeable.

Attach the cable sheath to the gearbox housing.

Install the console, hand lever and body floor trim.

Set the control lever to position "R".

Raise the vehicle.

Adjust the length of the control cable.

To do this, you must first make sure. that the control lever is in position "R". The wheels of the car must be blocked from rotation.

With such an installation of mechanisms, it is possible to rearrange the rod in the forks.

If this is not possible, and the rod cannot be inserted into the holes of the forks, it is necessary to adjust the support of the shell on the bracket by the method that was described earlier (see fig. 3.44).
