Check and lubricate the hood and doors (every 20,000 km or 12 months) (Transit 2)

1. Make sure all doors, hood and tailgate close securely. Check the operation of the hood latch and door travel limiters.

2. Sparingly, without using a lot of oil, lubricate the hinges, door opening limiters, strike plates and hood latch (see Figure 20.2).
