Differential disassembly

Elements of a partially disassembled differential are shown in fig. 3.24.



Remove tapered roller bearings.

Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the bevelled face gear from the differential housing.

The differential is not disassembled. If damaged, it must be replaced with a new one.
