SEQUENCE OF WORKS
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Place a container under the fuel filter. Attach the extension hose to the fuel drain plug.
3. Unscrew the drain plug by hand and drain the fuel from the filter completely. If there is fuel left in the filter, remove the drain hose from the top of the filter housing.
4. Place a rag under the fuel line connections, open the connections and wipe away any spilled diesel fuel.
5. Loosen the bolt and remove the filter from the mount. Dispose of the old filter in designated areas.
6. Fill the new filter to the brim with diesel fuel and screw it on securely.
7. Connect the fuel lines. Do not mix up the supply and return fuel lines - follow the markings.
8. Remove the container.
9. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery and start the engine. Check the tightness of the fuel filter and drain plug.
