Removing fuel lines and hoses

            0

WARNING

After switching off the ignition, the power supply system is under pressure for a long time. Therefore, when loosening fuel lines or disconnecting quick-release clamps, have a rag ready to collect spilled fuel.

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. When working on the power supply system, cleanliness must be observed. Pre-clean the area where the work is being carried out so that dirt does not get into open pipelines. Disconnect the quick-release clamps or threaded fittings.

2. If the shackles are not removable, insert a small wrench under the shackle and release the shackle.

3. Turning a fuel hose, remove it. If this is not possible, take a small wrench, insert it into the end of the hose and turn the hose.

4. When installing, use screw clamps instead of mounting spring clamps, and put new copper washers under the threaded pipes.
