After the ignition is turned off, the fuel system remains under pressure for a long time. Therefore, when unscrewing fuel lines or disconnecting quick-release clamps, have a rag ready to collect any spilled fuel.
SEQUENCE OF WORKS
1. When working on the power supply system, it is necessary to maintain cleanliness. Pre-clean the area where the work is being carried out so that dirt does not get into the open pipes. Disconnect quick-release clamps or threaded pipes.
2. If the brackets do not come off, insert a small wrench under the bracket and release the bracket.
3. Remove the fuel hose by twisting it. If this is not possible, take a small wrench, insert it into the end of the hose and twist the hose.
4. When installing, use screw clamps instead of spring clamps, and place new copper washers under the threaded pipes.
