Radiator fan (Fiesta 4)

            0

A faulty radiator fan can cause the coolant to overheat, of course, only if the engine is idling for a long time, driving intermittently at the end of the work day or in traffic jams. A faulty radiator fan does not mean that you must immediately stop driving. Stop the car, turn off the engine and wait until it cools down, after which you can drive at a medium engine speed and a relatively low speed to the nearest service station. Do not lose sight of the temperature gauge. However, idling and driving at low speeds are very dangerous for the engine, since in this case there is practically no air flow to cool the radiator.

WARNING

If you have just turned off a hot engine, do not place your hands under the fan impeller. The fan may turn on unexpectedly even when the ignition is off.
