Checking the beep

Voltage is applied to the horn contact on the steering wheel. If the buzzer does not work, check for voltage on the contact. If there is voltage, press the horn button and check for voltage at the horn connector located behind the front shock absorber. If voltage is present, replace the horn.



SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. Jack up the front left side of the car and secure it on supports. Brake the car with a parking brake and place a block under the rear wheel.

2. Disconnect the connector 1 (pic. 15.29) from the sound signal.

3. Turn away a nut and remove a sound signal 2 with an arm 3.

4. When installing a new horn, place a toothed spring washer under the nut.

5. Plug in the connector.

6. Lower the car.
