Description of the braking system

            0

By request, Ford Fiesta cars are equipped with ABC systems. In this case, each of the front wheels drives the adjusting unit. Each node regulates one circuit, covering one front wheel and the rear wheel located diagonally to it.

Adjusting nodes are located on both sides of the gearbox and are driven by toothed belts from belt pulleys located on the axle shafts.

Ford Fiesta cars are equipped with a dual-circuit brake system as standard. The brake system has a vacuum booster that increases the pressure exerted on the brake pedal.

In the braking system of Ford Fiesta cars, the front brakes are disc and the rear are drum.
