2. Loosen the nut on the filter clamp, then remove the old filter (see figure 37.2,a,b). Make sure the old seal is removed along with the filter.

3. If the old filter has a water-in-fuel sensor, the components of this sensor should be transferred to the new filter before installation (see Figure 37.3).
