The cooling system is filled with a mixture of water and antifreeze based on ethylene glycol. which does not freeze at -29 degrees Celsius (-20 degrees Fahrenheit). It also provides corrosion protection and raises the boiling point of the coolant.
At least once a year, you need to drain the liquid from the cooling system, flush it and fill it with fresh composition (see chapter 1) Using an antifreeze formulation for more than 2 years leads to clogging of the system due to sediment and rust.
Before adding coolant to the system, check all hoses and tips - antifreeze penetrates into the smallest cracks.
The best is a mixture of antifreeze with water, prepared depending on weather conditions. The mixture should contain 50 to 70 percent antifreeze, but no more.
