Warning: Gasoline is extremely flammable, so precautions should be taken when working on any part of the fuel system. Do not smoke, allow open flames or uninsulated lights in the work area.
Warning 1: Repairing a gas tank or filler neck is a responsible and dangerous job. Explosive vapors remain in the gas tank even after it has been thoroughly cleaned and flushed - and this can lead to an explosion during repair.
Warning 2: Once the gas tank is removed, do not place it in a location where open flame or sparks could ignite gasoline vapors emitted from the tank.
