Spark plugs and starting plugs

Spark plugs play a very important role in terms of the proper functioning of the engine.

Always use only recommended candles:

• for 1.1 engine with exhaust gas discharge system with catalytic converter - Motorcraft AGRF 22 C1,
• for 1.4i/1.6i engines with exhaust systems equipped with a catalytic converter - Motorcraft AGPR 22CD1.

Spark plugs must be replaced after 10,000 km of vehicle mileage.

The gap between the spark plug electrodes should be 1.0 mm.

After each unscrewing of the spark plug from the engine, it is necessary to check and adjust the gap between the electrodes. A special feeler gauge is used for this.

The diesel engine is equipped with starting plugs. These plugs must be selected from the spare parts catalog.

Starter plugs and spark plugs must be tightened to their recommended tightening torques.
