Description of ignition control (Fiesta 2)

The engine uses an electronic ignition system without a distributor. The following sensors are used to control the ignition: engine speed, coolant temperature and suction vacuum. In cars with an exhaust system equipped with a catalytic converter, the following parameters are monitored: exhaust gas composition and intake air temperature.
