Carpet and Upholstery Care (Transit 2)

            0

Upholstery and carpets should be swept or vacuumed regularly to remove sand. If they are very dirty, remove them from the car to clean them with a brush or sponge with soap and water, and let them dry. Keep the seats and interior trim panels clean by wiping them with a damp cloth and Turtle Wax Carisma. If any dirt stains appear, (which are more noticeable on light-colored upholstery), apply a small amount of liquid detergent and brush dirt from the fibers of the material with a soft upholstery brush. Remember: the ceiling should be kept as clean as all the upholstery. When using liquid cleaners inside your vehicle, do not over-wet the surfaces being cleaned. Moisture can penetrate through the seams into the interior of the vehicle, causing stains, odors, or rot. If water accidentally gets into the car's interior, dry it thoroughly, especially if the floor mats are wet. However, never place oil or electric heaters inside the vehicle!
