Checking the cruise control system

1. Due to the complexity of the cruise control system and the need for special tools and equipment, this procedure is not included in this publication.

2. Unscrew two locking screws and remove a pillow of a sound signal.

3. Check cruise control switch and wiring for broken wires and open contacts (see picture).



4. Lower the fuse box and check the cruise control fuse (section 4).

5. The cruise control system is vacuum operated so check all hoses in the engine compartment for tight connections, cracks, obvious vacuum leaks (see pictures).
