Removal



1. The battery is located in the engine compartment on the right side or one on each side if two batteries are installed.

2. Note the location of the wires, then unscrew the nut and disconnect the negative wire (see figure 3.2,a,b).

3. Remove the plastic cover (if it is installed), unscrew the nut and disconnect the positive wire.

4. Unscrew the clamp bolt (or release the retaining belt) and carefully remove the battery from the platform so as not to spill electrolyte on the body structure.

Installation



5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Install the positive wires first, then the negative ones
