Malfunctions of the intake air preheater most often manifest themselves in a decrease in engine power and an increase in fuel consumption. An improperly or improperly installed preheater hose can lead to the same symptoms.
In the cold season
After starting a cold engine, unstable idling is observed during the engine warm-up stage.
Unstable transitions when measuring engine operating modes, the engine operates intermittently.
In the warm season
Reduced engine power, maximum vehicle speed is achieved with difficulty.
Increased fuel consumption.
