1. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on stands.
2. Place a drain pan under the gearbox.
3. Unscrew the drain plug in the box, then the filler plug; let the oil drain into the pan.
4. After the oil has completely drained, reinstall the drain plug and tighten it securely.
5. Install the filler plug. Using a hand pump or funnel, pour in the required amount of oil.
6. Check the oil level as stated in section 22 Chapter 1, add if necessary.
